Despite the final flashes of warmth yesterday, I think we finally are staring winter in the face. That goodness for hydronic heating, and lovely indoor activities like quilting and DVD marathons while drinking hot cups of tea (and other bevies!).

I love Winter, especially if it means spending days watching period dramas, in cosy surrounds, with hot toddies - bring it on!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely relaxed time - Melbourne can be nice at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteI must admit that I hate being cold but I have a very cosy house and a big pile of DVDs to watch. The problem is now that it will be a long time until Downton 3 comes out - far too long to find out whether the path of true love runs smooth for Mary and Matthew and Anna and Bates.
DeleteGreat ways to tackle winter head on...I am a winter girl and the wet arrived for us today. x
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're ready to snuggle down for winter! It's spring here, but it's still cold! Blankets and DVDs and the fire have still been necessary.
ReplyDeleteCurious to see your new quilting project!
Have a great week!
Lovely photos! Just going to head out now to get my own copy of Downton Abbey...I am addicted!
ReplyDeleteIt was definitely a week for staying warm and cosy.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll have a look at the comment settings - I wasn't aware that those options were available in Blogger.
